Objective: By determine the expression of MIP-2 in pancreas,lung and liverof rats in acute pancreatitis to evaluate the pathological roles of thechemokine,MIP-2 in AP in order to find more effective new therapeuticways.Methods: Acute pancreatitis was induced in rats by retrograde injection 5%DCA(0.1ml/100g body weight) at 3 h and 6 h after induction, the expressionof MIP-2 in pancrea,lung and liver were studied.Results:1.the expression of MIP-2 in pancreasAt 3h and 6h,the expression of MIP-2 in model is higher than that of the contrast(P<0.05 ) and the expression of MIP-2 in model at 6h is much higher than in model at 3h(P<0.05).2.the expression of MIP-2 in lungAt 3h and 6h, the level of MIP-2 in model is higher than in contrast(P < 0.05) and the level of MIP-2 in model at 6h is much higher than in model at 3h(p < 0.05)3.the expression of MIP-2 in liverAt 3h and 6h,the level of MIP-2 in lever in contrast is not be determined whereas the level in model is much higher than in contrast(P < 0.05).the expression of MIP-2 in model at 6h is much higher than in model at 3h(P < 0.05) Conclusion:1. By immunohistochemistry to determine the low expression of MIP-2 in model rats is more sensitive than any other ways.2. MIP-2 in serum may result from pancrea injured during acute pancreatitis-associated lung injured in rats.3. The high level of MIP-2 in liver of rats in AP play an up-regulated role in liver injured.4. In AP, the level of MIP-2 in lung of rats is high, enable neutrophils infilerate into lung.
