Objective:In this study, we observe the clinical theraputic effect of joined puncture on the patients of upper limb spasticity after stroke. Discuss the theoretic mechanism. Methods:Choose 30 patients with spasticity of upper limb after stroke to accept treatment of joined puncture. Adopting Asworth Spasm Measuring Scale and simplified Fugl-meyer (SFMA) assessment chart of motor function contrast the condition of patients before and after treatment. Result:1.The rank given by Asworth decreases after two sessions. The spastic degree has significant differentiation.2. After two sessions , eight of them recover on the whole, nine of them improve obviously, eleven of them improve and two of them Inefficiency. The total effective rate is 93.3%.The joined puncture has clearly curative effect on the spasticity of upper limb after stroke.3. With the remission of spasticity after acupuncture, the motor function of wounded limb was improved conspicuously. All of the score of SFMA were enhanced after treatment .There is significant differentiation between before and after trearment.4. The decreasing value of muscular tension has positive relevance with the increasing value of motor function of upper limb. Conclusion: The joined puncture can decrease the muscular tension of stroke patients and relieve the muscular spasm to recovery the function of the upper limb.
