| Based on the basic theories of the traditional Chinese Medicine,the clinical feature of diabetes mellitus, this study holds that qiyinliangxu is the basic pathogenic mechanism of NIDDM,deficiency of body ,unregular eating and sufficiency house-working are its important pathogenic basis.Through observing clinically its influence on fast blood sugar before and after diet, urine sugar, glycosylated phemoglobin, blood lipids, fast serum insulin and the clinical symptoms evaluation with non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (NIDDM) and comparing with those treated with Xiaoke pill,this study aims to evealuate the clinical curative effects of NIDDM and investigate its mechanisms by combination of acupuncture with Xiaoke pill.The therapeatic principle is to tonify kidney and spleen, vigorate qi and yin, with regulating eating,house-working.The clinical results show the treatment group can obviously improve blood glucose and lipid metablism as well as the clinical symptoms and insulin sensitivity, correct insulin resistance.The clinical effect in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group. |
