Clinical Observation And Its Anti-inflammatory Mechanism On Treating Unstable Angina By Uomaishutong Granule

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Luomaishutong Granule on unstable angina pectoris and explore its mechanism of effect on inflammatory factor-CRP(C-reactive protein). Methods : A total of 66 patients with UAP were randomized divided into two groups. 33 cases were treated with conventional western medical therapy plus Luomaishutong Granule as treatment group. Other 33 cases were treated with conventional western medical therapy as control group. The changes of clinical symptom and CRP were observed before and after treatment in both groups. Result: In the treatment group , the total effective rate of meliorating symptoms and the remarkable rate were respectively 97.50% and 77.50% , which were significantly better than those of the control group after 4 weeks, P<0.05 .Meanwhile, the level of CRP of two groups before treatment as statically different compared with those of the two groups , P<0. 05 or P< 0.01. But the melioration of CRP level were more remarkable in treatment group , P<0. 01. Conclusion:Luomaishutong Granule can effectively and significantly improve clinical symptom of UAP and remarkably decrease the level of CRP. Anti - inflammatory is considered the main mechanism of Luomaishutong Granule.
