In the recent years, cerebral apoplexy is on the upward trend because of the change of living habits and the population aging. With the deep inquisition into this disease and the improvement of helth service, the death rate of occurring suddenly and severly ictus sanguinis has significantly declined. But the rate of deformity at the latter stage of this disease obviously rises, which causes the patients a great deal of pain. Chinese medicine has many advantages and variety of methods that help to curing stroke, and acupuncture is one important technology, which gets effective clinical curative effect. But acupuncture for stoke focuses on the rehabilitation supportive therapy, and doesn't work well in curing disease. Therefor, the therapeutic action of acupuncture for acute cerebral ischemia is studied in this thesis. In the experiments, rats are the investigated subjects. Thread technique is used to make ischemic models of middle cerebral artery. The resulting model rats are randomly divided into model group and electroacupuncture group for comparison. In the electroacupuncture therapy, the fist positon is DU20 (the mesial parietal bone), which points at GB7 under the skin with 8mm; the second positon is DU20, which points at the right canthus. They are then connected to the electroacupuncture apparatus. Dilatational wave is used and the duration is 30min every 12h till to execute. The protective effect for schemic brain tissue is explored by the comparision between the two groups in the change of brain moisture content and infarct volume. The protective effect for nerve function is...
