| This thesis mainly describes the preliminary study on constituents ofFoeniculum vulgare Mill., and chemical constituents, pharmacological actions andclinical practices of Foeniculum vulgare Mill .were systematically reviewed. The chemical constituents had been isolated commonly by columnchromatography and the spectroscopic methods such as IR ,H-NMR ,113C-NMR,1H-1HCOSY,DEPT,gHMBC as well as gHMQC had been usedin structural elucidation. Three compounds and two waxy compounds hadbeen isolated. One compound had been identified as 15-Nonacosanona(C29H58O),the other two were tested to be long-chain ester and contain onealdehyde group. Two waxy compounds were paraffins and were analysed byGC/MS.At the same time, the volatile oils from Foeniculum vulgare M. wereinvestigated with the GC/MS, the results showed the volatile oil contained atleast 17 compounds, in which 13 compounds were indentified. The majorconstituents of the oils were: trans-anethole(81.81%), α-phellandrene(4.15%)and estragole(3.52%). At the same time, the antibacterial activitiesof the volatile oil had been preliminarily tested. The results showed that thevolatile oil had quite well antibacterial effects and had wider antibacterialrange(G-had better antibacterial effects than G+). And S. auresu was mostsensitive, next came B. subtilis and P. vulgaris, and then E. coli. The fatty acids from Foeniculum vulgare M. by two methods wereinvestigated with the GC/MS, and compared them. |
