Object: To study the related mechanism of hepatopulmonary syndrome. Method: The animal models were established by compound factors and plasma ALT,AST,NO,gas , endotoxin and the liver Hypo were measured . The lung hemogenate NO were measured too.The ratio of brain-over-lung radioactivity was calculated after injecting 99mTc-labeled albumin macroaggregates into the tail vein and Alcian Blue had been used to test the content of intestinal mucosa liquid. The bowl TNF- a and the lung NOS were detected by using immunohistochemisty method. Protein and the MDA content of mucosa in ileum were measured. Using simple water pillar tested portal vein pressure and the ultra structure of enteric epithelium was observed by transoelectroscope. Measurement of FITC-D, HPR and endotoxin were carried ; Germs in portal vein blood were cultured and authenticated too. Result: Liver cirrhosis came into being with arterial O2 content decreased, an increased alveolar-arterial difference in the partial pressure of oxygen (AaDO2) and intrapulmonary vascular expanded. The NO increased and the iNOS decreased significantly. The balance of acid-base was broken. The Alcian Blue reduced first and increased then, however, the MDA just on the adverse .The intestinal mucosa protein decreased gradually during the experiment. The bowel TNF-α and portal pressure gradually aggrandized, The germs of portal vein increases gradually, the bacillus is a lord, coccus appeared in the later stages. Conclusion : 1 The animal cirrhotic model established by compound factors is the ideal model for the hepatopulmonary syndrome study. 2 The decrease of the NO synthesized by iNOS may be an igniting factor of HPS. 3 The IETM have the important function in the HPS: The reduction of iNOS and the augment of intestinal permeability are the main fields of the endotoxin.
