Objective: To investigate the relationship between the expression of Survivin, Fas, bax and the apoptosis in esophageal squmous- cell carcinoma tissues of different ethnic patients in Xinjiang. Method: 86 cases tissues with esophageal squamous-cell carcinoma and 10 cases normal tumor-adjacent tissues were examined for Survivin,Fas,bax by immunohistochemisry, apoptosis by in-situ TUNEL. Result: (l)The positive frequency of expression of Survivin, Fas, bax in 86 cases tissues with esophageal squamous-cell carcinoma was 69.5% (57/82), 91.6% (77/84), 42.8% (36/84) respectively. And the expression of those in normal tumor-adjacent tissues was 0/10,7/10,5/10. The expression of Survivin in cancer was significantly higher then non-cancer (P<0.05). (2) No statistic significance of expression of Survivin, Fas, bax and apoptosis was found among different ethnic patients in Xinjiang (P > 0.05). (3)There were statistic significance among varing degrees of differentiation (P<0.05). (4)There were no statistic significance between LMN and non-LMN(P > 0.05). Conclusion (1) The expression of Survivin, Fas, bax among different ethnic patients in Xinjiang have common way. (2) The result suggest that the expression of Survivin, Fas, bax are cor-related with the degrees of differentiation of esophageal squamous-cell carcinoma. (3) The determination of Survivin, Fas, bax could be used to assessing the degree of malignancy and predicting the clinical prognosis. |
