Objective: In order to provide some theoretical bases for the clinicians to choose the best therapeutical scheme and a given period of time for the patients who contract peptic ulcer , according to the principle of pharmacoecnomics, we have explored and analyzed the rationality of the prescriptions by comparing between the therapeutical scheme of inpatients and outpatients in the two given period of time. We expound the view that can gain the most economical and the best effectiveness according to a given period of time cure peptic ulcer. Methods: 1, Dividing a given period of therapeutical time, 2, Compering a given period of significant time, 3, Collecting the cases of inpatients to divide them into groups by the simi larity of the prescriptions, Group A is 16 cases of prescriptions of Cimetidine600mg+Metronidazole 500mg-The other Antibiotics for injection bid; Group B is 26 cases of prescriptions of Pantoprazole40mg+Metronidazole 500mg+The other antibiotics for injection qd; Group C is 13 cases of prescriptions of Omeprazole40mg+Metronidazole 500mg+the other Antibiotics for injection qd. Group D is Omeprazole20mg+Clarithromycin500mg +Metronidazole400mg bid 1wk po 3, Comparing the effects and costs of the groups and seeing if there are some remarkable differences, or evaluating comprehensively the rationality of drug-use from convenience and a given period of time. Conclusion: There is no difference whichever the inpatients scheme between their effectiveness and costs , but the cost of outpatients is lower than that of inpatients , we should emphasize on outpatients to control the peptic ulcer in the period of time and to find the way which can get the best result in use less money, convenient way and a short time in order tosave our medical resources.
