objective To study the change of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) and it's two receptors :Flt-l and Flk-1/KDR in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) after transcatheter arterial chemoembolization (TACE) ,and to research the relationship between tumor hypoxia and tumor angiogenesis to see if the tumor neovascularization after TACE are dependent on endothelial cell signal transduction mechanisms. Method :The 36 speciments were carcinoma tissues resected from human with HCC ..divided into two groups,21 cases received TACE,and the other cases were treated only by operation .All these speciments were examined with immunohistochemical method and then were observed under the microscope ,to see their staining indensity. At last ,used the SPSS V10.0 to analysis all the data.Result In TACE group both the positive rate and staining indensity of VEGF and it's receptors were all higher than that of the surgical group. All the data are analysed by statistical software SPSS V12.0,and all the values of P are less than 0.01. Conclusions After TACE , a majority of tumour cells was killed, but the remain carcinoma tissues have strong ability to induction the tumor angiogenesis even can induce the tumor's metastasis. |
