The Clinical Study On Treatment Of Cervicitis Vaginitis With Catechu Ulcer Powder

This thesis paper explains the recent researches of chronic cervicitis and vaginitis of traditional Chinese medicine and modern medicine according to a number of literatures. It contains the cognition to these diseases of ancient traditional Chinese medicine doctors and their diagnosis and treatment to these diseases, these diseases' the pathological mechanism, diagnosis and treatment in modern medicine. It also sums up and explains the treatment of these diseases of traditional Chinese medicine and modern medicine. Meanwhile, a clinical observation was made on the treatment of chronic cervicitis and vaginitis with catechu ulcer powder. 126 patients were divided into two groups, ie. catechu ulcer powder treating group, which included 65 patients and Jieryin controlled group, which included 61 patients. And the symptom scores, the papanicolaou staining level, and the smear of vaginal secretion of patients in two groups were compared. The result shows that in comparison with Jieryin, the effect of catechu ulcer powder is better and without side effect.
