| Object to investigate the change of insulin and glucagon in patients with heart failure. Method To collect 28 patients with heart failure admitted to hospital from 99-6 to 2001-3, and 20 persons for health exam within this time make them to 3 groups, group 1: 20 persons for health exam, group2:chronic heart failure with some kinds of causes 18 cases(besides complains, signs, EF<40%); group3: acute heart failure for acute myocarditis or acute myocardial infarction 10 cases (but under the treatment, heart failure was disappear). The next morning of admission to hospital , we get their blood 4ml, examine insulin, glucagon and glucose. Result: Glucagon is higher in patients with heart faliure(chronic or acute); insulin is lower in patients with chronic heart failure; while blood glucose had no difference. Conclusion: in patients with chronic or acute heart failure, their glucagon is higher, while insulin is lower only in patients with chronic heart failure. |
