| Objective: To investigat the relationship among insulin resistance, cardiac function and cytokine. Method: Serum concentrations of TNF- α , IL-1β and IL-6 in 97 CHF patients and 48 healthy volunteers were determined by the methods of radioimmunoassay and oxidizing enzyme, while as well as BNP were measured by ELISA. Result: Compared to the healthy controls, patients with CHF showed significantly higher levels of FIS, TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β , BNP and lowerIAI.It also showed that CHF severe was related to the levels of TNF- α , IL-6, IL-1β , BNP and negatively to IAI, and IAI was also negatively correlated with BNP and TNF-α in patients with CHF(P<0. 05).Conclusion: Insulin resistance (IR) was found in CHF patients, and progressed with cardiac function aggravation. Neuroendocrine hormones and cytokines was highly related to the severity of CHF which indicated that neuroendocrine hormones and cytokines played an important role in pathophysiologic process. (3) TNF-α , IL-6, IL-1β and BNPmay be used as predictors of CHF serivity in clinic . |
