The Effect Of Sterological Paramete On Hippocampi And T-AOC Of Fucongling Tablet On The Model Rats Of Vascular Dementia

OBJECTIVE:In order to observe the mechanism and the action of Fucongling tablet on the prevention and treatment of VD, study the protective effect of Fucongling tablet through morphology and biochemical indexs to give proof for clinic. METHODS:70 Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into six groups at random .And respectively medicated with FCL and Hydergine suspension by gavage. In order to investigate the effects of Chinese medicinal herbs, rats were evaluated by spatial memory acquisition using Y- type maze test, free radical and total antioxidant capacity, the optical micrographs of CA1 in the hippocampus of rats were analyzed by means of a TIGER cell image processing system. RESULTS:1, The result showed that brain-damaged rats'learning and memory capacity decreased.2, Fucongling can increase the activity of SOD and decrease the content of MDA.3, Fucongling groups can improve rat's T-AOC,especially high dose of Fucongling group . High dose of Fucongling is obviously superior to Hydergine in improving rat's T-AOC(P<0.05).4, When model group's volum of pyramidal cell in CA1 in the hippocampus is compared to other groups , the difference is obviously; When high dose of Fucongling group's area of pyramidal cell in CA1 in the hippocampus is compared to model group , the difference is obviously; When Model group's diametre of pyramidal cell in CA1 in the hippocampus is compared to middle, high and normal groups, the difference is obviously. CONCLUSIONThis study show that Fucongling has no long-term chronic toxicity , no ill effect ,and can improve rat's faculty of memory, raise the vigour of SOD, clean MDAin blood, raise total antioxidant capacity , reduce the injury of hippocampal gymsneuron; It can also improve pathologic change of the rat pattern, prevent and curevascular dementia.
