Objective: Vascular Dementia (VD) is a kind of frequently-occurring disease in the old. There were typical center bilineurine system injury phenomena during its process. In order to analyse therapeutical effect on vd with Baijin pill and reveal the mechanism, we detected acetylcholinesterase, Choline acetyltransferase in brain tissue of mice with Vascular Dementia.Methods: We duplicated the "VD model" with the method of brain ischemia-reperfusion. The mice were divided into five groups at random and poured respectively with saline, low dose liquid of baijin pilk high dose liquid of baijin pilk liquid of ginkgo leaf and liquid of nimodipini into stomach after the operation, we set up artificial operation group which were separated common carotid-artery without blocking up bleeding and were pourd with saline, 1 time a day after the operation. Such factors have been detected as the AchE contend the ChAT activity and the changes of pathomorphology of brain.Results:1 Result of praxiology experiment1.1 Experiment of water-labyrinth The learning performance: As same as the wrong times ,the time of swimming along the whole line of model group was more than that of artificial operation group (P<0.01) each period after the operation, which showed that the learning performance of model group was descending . The swimming time and the wrong times of high dose of baijin pill group was less than that of nimodipini group and low dose of baijin pill group (P<0.01), while there was not difference between high dose group and ginkgo leaf group after taking medicine (P>0.05). The memory performance: The result is similar to learning performance. Compared with artificial operation group, the time of swimming and wrong times of model group was obviously increasing, the difference was significant, which showed the memorizing ability of model group descend. The wrong times of high dose group was less than that of nimodipini group and low dose group (p<0.01) , while the difference was not significant between high dose group and ginkgo leaf group.1.2 Experiment of jumping stand The learning performance: Each period after the operation, the reaction time(the time of jumping up the stand) of model group was longer than that of artificial operation group, there was obviously difference between the two groups (P<0.01), which showed that the learning performance of modelgroup was descending. The reaction time of high dose group was obviously shorter than that of low dose group and nimodipini group after taking medince (P<0.05 or P<0.01). The memory performance: The latency time(the time of jumping down the stand) of model group was shorter than that of artificial operation group, there was obviously difference between them (P<0.01), which showed that the memory performance of model group was descending. The latency time of high dose group was obviously longer than that of low dose group and nimodipini group after taking medince (P<0.01), while there was not obviously difference between high dose group and ginkgo leaf group (P>0.05).2 The effect on AchE conten in brain tissue of vd mice with baijin pill: Compared with artificial operation group, the brain tissue AchE content of model group mice was obviously elevated after 7 days of the operation (P<0.01), high dose and low dose of baijin pill can decreased the content of AchE in brain tissue, and there was relation between dose and effect.The AchE content of high dose group was lower than that of low dose group and Nimodipini group(P<0.05 or P<0.01). High dose group had similar result with gingko leaf group, There was not significant difference between the two groups (p>0.05). 15 days after the operation, AchE content of model group was higher than that of artificial operation group (P<0.01), butthere was not obviously difference among others group. 30 days after the operation, the AchE content of model group was near to artificial operation group, there was not obviously difference among all groups.3 The effect on ChAT in seahorse tissue of vd mice wit...
