Objective cerebral infarction was a common neuralgicdisease which often takes place in the old man. It not only has ahigh mortality rate, but also has some locomotive functiondisabilities of varying degrees. It will affect the patients' future life.To study the effect of the early rehabilitation of cerebral infractionwith compuncture added to rehabilitation training. Methods 97patients with cerebral infarction were divided into 3 groups:acupuncture by stages and rehabilitation group, 33cases;rehabilitation group, 31eases; common acupuncture group, 33cases.Who were testified by CT or MRI ,three series of patient's course,the degree of disease and the general condition was fundamentalidentify and insignificant. So that three series of patient hadcomparability. Comparing the effects among those groups withNerve Function Insufficient ,Barthel index number, FMA and thewhole efficiency of treatment Result The scales of CNFD,FMA, and. Barthel index number of the patients in the acupunctureby stages and rehabilitation intervention group was increasedsignificantly than those of the rehabilitation and commonacupuncture groups. The rate of cure in the acupuncture by stagesand rehabilitation intervention group was 96.97%,while that of therehabilitation group was 90.32% and the common acupuncture groupwas 84.85%. Conclusion The effect of acupuncture by stages andrehabilitation group were better than rehabilitation group orcommon acupuncture group. So acupunction compared with therehabilitation training is effective on the rehabilitation of patientsof cerebral infarction.
