Objective : To reduce hospital infection rate and protect the safety of hospital staff and patients, and works out effective measures that prevents controlling the hospital infection and occupation protection.Method: A investigation about knowledge, attitude and practice of the hospital infection was carried out on 262 medical trainee.Results: The results showed that 77.48% of the students know the endanger of hospital infection, but only 57.25% can accomplish the strict standard to execute asepsis operating rules and regulations. The students of 93.51% think it is important that washing hand can prevent hospital infection, but 65.36% of students still have not the habit of washing themselves hand before contact patient. They acquire knowledge of occupation protection from their teacher(48.85%) and books ,newspapers and periodicals(40.08%). The students of 84.73% show that they concern about whether or not patient carries the bacteria before treating and nursing patient. The skin of 84.73% students contact patient's blood and body fluid once in the practice, 79.77% of students occurred needle stabs and wounds. 96.95% of needle stabbing and wounding were not reported.Conclusion: Because being short of regular and system education and training about the hospital infection and the occupation protection. Most of student understand the importance about the hospital infection and occupation protection. They have not changing knowledge to the voluntarily action, and can not accomplish voluntarily washing their hands. The needle stabs and wounds occurring rate is high.
