| Chronic atrophic gastritis is one of commonly and frequently encountered diseases. It seriously affects the life of humankind. Countries all over the world think highly of the research prevention and care of CAG. The thesis summarize present situation study about CAG from modern medicine and traditional Chinese medicine.In modern medicine, through a large quantity of experimental studys about pathology of CAG medical experts raised some mechanisms and produced some relevant hypertersors which provedeutherapeutic.CAG belongs to "gastric ache" , " gastric blockade " in traditional Chinese medicine.
