Modern world is full of continuously explosive knowledge, that makes it necessary to combine inheriting advantages and characteristics with great earnest and innovations with great courage. Furthermore, modern science and technology should be used initiatively in order to improve the progress of theory and practice of TCM and finally to realize the TCM modernization.Above all, cultivating people with ability of Traditional China medicine for new times is more important comparably, because the culture of TCM would be widespread with the people who have possessed the ability of innovative spirits. The action of bring up people of ability mainly take place the higher TCM academy.The aim of following content is to grope for a new cultivating pattern through the analysis of materials and factual information collected.The main body is divided three parts as following:I MEANING OF CULTIVATING STUDENTS OF UNDERGRADUATE COURSE OF HIGER ACDEMY OF TCM(I)OPPORTUNITIES AND CHANLLEGES CONGRANTEDThe knowledge of TCM has its own characteristics, but also including many disadvantages, which obviously will insult in challenges such as lack of capability of logical perfection, shortage of the precise meaning of ancient traditional culture stated by present scientific language.Besides, on the side of cultivating people of ability also exist undesirable aspects. Current talented man of TCM being brought up dropped behind the developing requirements of medicine and society.
