In this thesis,we observed the syndromes of 482 patients with thorax-Arthralgia-Syndrome(ISM) and used a reasonable statistical method and combined the TCM therapy and conclusion derived by our disciplines former research. All these work testified the following viewpoints.The basic symptoms in thorax arthralgia is deficiency in origin and excess in superficiality.The deficiency of Heart-Yang is the main pathogentic basic of thorax arthralgia ;The phlegm and blood stasis is the major pathogentic factor;Accumalation of cold~ Qi stasis and Heat retention are not only the pathogentic results but also the factors to exacerbation or acute invasion.The syndromes of thorax arthralgia are dynamic,which can occur gradually or suddenly.Developments of them are aggravating transform or sudden change.their convertion are to aggravation and to healing. The whole permanent change and relative stability are the main characters in the dynamic variety of syndrome.Many factors can affect the syndromes development of thorax arthralgia, such as the difference of constitution,the kind and degree of pathogenic factors,the treating failure and the treating mistake,age,sexual distinction,emotion,the different viscera,time,season,district.All above are expressed specificly as follouws.The syndromes of thorax arthralgia developes like a tree.Deficiency of Heart-Yang,deficiency?7of Heart-Yin,phlegm blood stasis are the trucks of the development and often exist in the course.Accumalation of cold ,qi stasis,heartattention is the branch,which often affect the truck.Deficiency of Lidney-Yang,deficiency of Liver-Yin and Kidney-Yin,qi collapse, spleen-qi deficiency,Yang-Exhaustion are the results of change.
