| Objective: To study the mechanism of "YANGWEIHEJI" on reducing side-effects after radiotherapy. Methods: Both cell culture and MTT(methyl thiazoly tetraz -olium) were used to observed the proliferation of mice splee -nic lymphocytes ,YW is used for 15 days after radiation. To study the protective effects of mice scathed by free radical after radiation using TBA and DTNB. Results: YW did promote the proliferation of mice splenic lymphocytes and reduce the side-effects of radiotherapy. YW reduces content of MDA, improves content of GSH (in both liver and kidney). Conclusion: YW can increase cellular immunity of mice after Radiation of carcinoma, reduce the side-effects of immunity system caused by radiotherapy. At the same time ,YW reduces scathe caused by free radical. But the protective effects of scathe of DNA was not observed. |
