This paper through doing the analysis of physicochemical property, characteristic index and principal component analysis in the laboratory of volcanic ash soils growth from different pozzolana chorizo, at different topographic condition's volcanic region in CHANGBAI Mountains; and reveal the region's geographical characteristics of the volcanic soils in CHANGBAI Mountains. The research results are showed as following:(1)Through the analysis of the physical nature of the indicators in CHANGBAI Mountain, soil texture is coarse that means the soils have characteristics of thick bone and the beginning; porosity at 46%~70%.That means soil structure showing a good proportion and the appropriate size of the pores.(2) By conducting soil acidity, conductivity, organic matter, such as the determination of nitrogen and phosphorus derived: volcanic ash soil acidity is neutral in general, only surface soil of the volcanic ash soils is acidic. That shows the impact of the base of the mother substance in acidic environment. CHANGBAI Mountain volcanic ash soils humus layer with higher levels of organic matter, all rich in nitrogen, total phosphorus is missing. There is not entirely consistent between the study and traditional understanding of the volcanic ash soils.(3) Can be seen from the correlation analysis, chemical properties of soil in CHANGBAI Mountain ash influence each other. Soil acidity and available N have a counter-balance relationship, it can be drawn in CHANGBAI Mountain volcanic ash soils with low available nitrogen have close relationship with soil acidity, a relationship is between total nitrogen content and the composition of the humus.Through principal component analysis we know that, the impact of many factors, these three factors of organic macromolecules factor, acidity factor, the element factor affect the soil quality as the main common factor. Reflect the chemical nature of the CHANGBAI Mountain volcanic ash soils is determined organic macromolecules, acidity, and elements of these three factors. Reflect the physical and chemical properties characteristics of volcanic ash soils have the close relationships with vegetation coverage, diversity and soil acidity, as well as the migration of elements.(4) From the geographical genetic perspective, the CHANGBAI Mountain volcanic ash soils grow and develop under the influence of the five elements of the natural environment. Humid monsoon climate, special terrain, as well as pumice and volcanic ash parent material of Holocene eruption debris and weathered as the base of the formation conditions of CHANGBAI Mountain volcanic ash soils. Namely, Holocene volcanic continuous eruptions led to the relatively short time into the soil, ash but also provides for direction and strength of CHANGBAI Mountain volcanic ash soils development(5) Subsurface soil can significantly increase clay in the better vegetation cover in the soil. stable conditions in the environment, with the increase of soil age, the process will show sticky process, its geochemical characteristics toward the evolution of the dark brown soil.
