| Agriculture is the mostly industry in Huaian. 76.3 percent population of this region is in country. Due to some negative conditions, rural economy and society developed lopsidedly, the development of rural water supply was lopsided. Unsafe drinking water still exists in many parts. This will threaten the health of people and affect the pace of building a comprehensive well-off society in Huaian. Therefore, in-depth studying of safety of drinking water in Huaian's rural areas, identifying the deficiencies and analyzing its causes, and building the water resources management system to ensure the safety of drinking water in rural areas has important theoretical and reality significance.
