Chemical Constituents And Their Antifugal Activity From Fruits Of Idesia Polycarpa Maxim. Var. Vestita Diels

Idesia polycarpa Maxim. Var. vestita Diels is a variety of Idesia polycarpa , subordinate to Flacourtiaceae.It lives in Shanxi,Sichuan,Anhui,Zhejiang and so on in china,to the south of Qinling Mountains and Huaihe River.Its red spherical fruits include lots of seeds. There are many substances in the fruits,such as fatty acids, phenols, sugar glycosides, alkaloids, vitamin E .They have anti-bacterial, anti-oxidation, herbicidal, cardiac effect, blood pressure-lowering effect. In this paper, fruits extract's effects on inhibiting the growth of mycelium, total phenol contents and optimum condutions of oil extraction were measured. Meanwhile , the chemical compositions of Idesia polycarpa Maxim. Var. Vestita Dies'fruits were researched based on GC-MS and modernization theory of separation of technology.The results are as follows:1. The tube and TLC were used to test constituents of pulp and seed. The pulp contains phenols, sugars, amino acids, peptides and proteins, essential oil, oils.Besides, the seeds contained anthraquinone.2. In order to test fruits'biological activities ,we resorter to the method inhibiting fungi mycelium growth. At the 40 mg / mL concentration, the growth inhibition rate of seeds'ethyl acetate fraction on Fusarium graminearum, Colletotrichum la- ge narium, Glomerella cingnlata.schr. et. were 100%. And its MICs on F. graminearum, C. lagenarium, G. cingnlata. schr. et. Were respectively 20 mg / mL, 10mg/mL, 10mg/mL.3. the total phenol contents of pulp and seeds were 2.537 percent, 5.337 percent by Folin way; The optimum condutions of oil extraction were petroleum , liquid-to-solid ratio 7 mL / g, ultrasound extraction time 20 min, ultrasonic extraction 4 times,at this condition ,the yield was 26.48%.4. seven and eight volatile compounds were respectively detected from pulp and seeds by using GC-MS.Luckly, Stigmastan-3,5-diene ,β-Amyrin and Squalene were detected in the seeds .5. By column chromatography, TLC, recrystallization, Separation of the seeds extract resulted in the isolation of 12 compounds. Based on the available literature. the structures of the known compounds was determined by comparison of the m.p.,NMR, MS, and IR data with the data found in the literature.They were linoleic acid,β-Amyrin,β-sitosterol, arachidic acid, catechol, idescarpin, idesia,2-hydroxy-4-(3-hydroxylpropenyl)-phenyl-o-βD-glucopyranoside, salirepin.And Y12 maybe was idesin salicylate but not to be sure.In this paper, the pulp and seeds'chemical components were systematically studied.And total phenol contents and biological activity were measured. moreover, 12 compounds were isolated from the seeds.β-Amyrin,β-sitosterol and arachidic acid acid were isolated from the plant for the first time. The results emriched the data of Idesia polycarpa Maxim. Var. vestita Diels and provided basis for further development of this resources.
