Study Of Using And Composting Turfgrass Clippings On Golf Courses

Discarding turfgrass clippings as rabbish will face consume resource,occupy land, pollute ground water and so on .We research the turfgrass clippings moved from golf course from March to November as compost material. The resulit show that the most amount is may,Its fresh weight is 124.6g/m². The mean amount is 80 g.m^-2.There are a high content nutrition element in turfgrass clippings. The mean content of N in DW is above 4.0 % . We find pesticide residue in the turfgrass clippings.The mean C/N of turfgrass clippings is about 10. The meant content of water is 70%,pH is about7. The author changing the C/N of turfgrass clippings with rice husk(500) sawdust(170.83) to 25,inoculating out microbes(compoud microbes). The result show that only adjusting the C/N of clipings compost bins to25 ,the C/N of last compost product will fall, the ompost bins need more than 10 d to reach 50℃and the pH is about 5.0,the content of N will fall. Compost bins wth compoud microbes in only need 1-2d to reach 50℃,The pH is near to7.0,however,the C/N of compost product will rise ,the content of N fall down. Only adjusting the C/N of clppings compost bins to 25with rice husk or sawdust and inoculating compoud microbes ,the temerperate of compost bins will have aqucikly rise ,the C/N is falling ,the pH is near 7.0,the content of N is rising .clippings composting bins with more highter C/N sawdust adjusting C/N to25 and with ompoud microbes in will have a good compost product ,only need two weeks. After deal the compost with clippings,We desigen four ways of fertilization,compare the affect of compost to turfgrass,the resulit show with half andhalf compost and fertilizer,the turfgrass have a good qulity,very quickly form turfgrass,very good turfgrass qulity,evaporation of turfgrass is low,the turfgrass clippings isdecreasing,the ability of resistance to lawn diseases is rising,the time of keep green is more long...
