Cow endometritis is a kind of common obstetrics disease in postpartum due to bacterial infectionand results in reproductive disease and has great impact on the dairy industry. The objects of thistrial were normal cows and cows with endometritis in postpartum, through sickness survey forcattle hidden pathogen and analysis morbidity agent and infection agent of endometritis inpostpartum. Collecting the uterine secretion of 54 cows (12 cows was normal and 42 cows wasinfected) from Heilongjiang farms were cultured in aerobic and anaerobic environment, then wereisolated and identificated on different solid culture mediums, so as to determin the main pathogenicbacterium causing cow endometritis. 8 kinds of bacterium were isolated from the normal cow in0d~14d postpartum and the most bacterial number were detected in 5d~9d postpartum. From thecows with disease, there were 14 kinds of bacterium were isolated and the main pathogenicbacterium were Escerichia coli; Staphylococcus, Arcanobacterinm, Bacteroides and Fusobacterium.In this study, anaerobic bacterium isolated will provide reference for profoundly investigatingmicrobial population in uterus.In this experiment, for study on sensitive degree of chinese medicine and western medicine onpathogenic bacteria, 16 antibiotics, 11 single chinese medicine and 2 compound chinese medicinewere determined extraorgan bacteriostasis effect. The results indicated that the inhibitory action ofwest medicine (vancomycin, neomgcin, florfenicol, ciprofloxacin) were stronger, and especiallyciprofloxacin was more predominance. Chinese medicine (kuhseng, scutellaria, heartleafhouttuynia herb, taraxaci) and compoundⅠandⅡhave better effect on bacteriostasis. Through thefiltration of the chinese medicine and antibiotics, it was supplied that the scientific evidence forclinically cure cow endometritis.Through single chinese medicine extraorgan bacteriostasis test, the better chinese medicine wasselected and carryed out the orthogonal test for compound. By using of test tube double dilution,bacteriostasis action of two compound chinese medicine were determined. The results showed thatcompound chinese mecidine (taraxaci, forsythia suspensa, lonicera japonica thunb, ect)had ratherstrongly inhibit bacterial activity for pathogenic bacteria.And the effect better was applied inclinical. From the perspective of chinese medicine to treat cows endometritis, selecing compound medicine will provide a good reference for clinical therapy.
