Generally, the cycle of growth and development of angelica in the first year is the period of cultivation of seeds, the second year is the period of formation of medicinal value, and the third year is the period of bolting. In order to explore the rules of angelica's formative medicinal value and resolve the problems of early bolting rate, high incidence of Ditylenchus Destructor, low and unsteady yields, this thesis aims to provide some scientifical bases so as to master the rules of angelica's growth and improve its quality through the study of cultivation, fertilization and density. At the same time, some theoretical guidance is offered for construction of GAP base. The main study results are listed as follows:1. The effect of cultivation method on angelica's growth rules and quality. The process of Angelica stem and leaves can be divided into celerity rise phase, slowness rise phase and fade phase. During these three phases, stem length of plastic mulch coverage treatment was higher than others, and black plastic mulch coverage has the most notable effect. The dry matter of angelica'upper-ground part accumulation process can be divided into 3 stages: beginning accumulation, quick accumulation and stable accumulation. In the whole process, single plant upper-ground part dry matter accumulations of plastic mulch coverage treatments are higher than conventional planting (CK). Angelica root dry matter accumulation process can be divided into 3 stages; it's beginning accumulating, slow accumulating and quick accumulating period. Single plant root dry matter accumulation was the same at the first two periods, and at quick raising period, the others are all higher than conventional planting. Late August was the dry matter accumulation center transfer time.Angelica under Ridge planting, Black plastic mulch coverage, Furrow planting show some disease resistance. In Black plastic mulch coverage, White plastic mulch coverage, Furrow planting and Ridge planting treatments, distinguished and first-class root extraction were all higher than CK. And distinguished root extractions were 35.20%, which was about 22.47 percent higher than CK. First-class root extractions were 17.10%, which was about 6.97 percent higher than CK.Black plastic mulch coverage had the highest yield, 18555.56 Kg/hm2, increased output up to 33.4%, White plastic mulch coverage took second place, which yielded 17277.78 Kg/hm2,rate of output about 24.3%. Furrow planting and Ridge planting yield were 16183.33 Kg/hm2 and 14905.56 Kg/hm2 respectively, which increased output 2277.79 Kg/hm2 and 1000.00 Kg/hm2.2.The effect of fertilization on angelica's growth rate and quality.
