Hexi of Gansu province is a high quality wine grape area in China, Cabernet Sauvignon grape of ten years old were used to study through different water-saving drip irrigation methods in MoGao ecological garden in Huang yang zhen of Wuwei. In growth period of grape,Dynamic changes of soil moisture, grape growth, fruit quality and changes of root distribution were discussed under single-tube drip irrigation ,two-tube drip irrigation, covering irrigation,drip irrigation under mulch and traditional furrow irrigation. To provied the theoretical basis in water-saving of drip irrigation for cultivation of Cavernet Sauvignon inWuwei region of Gansu province.The results were as follows.(1) Uniformity of different drip irrigation tube of the tests showed that D-type drip irrigation tube had the greatest loss with the tube inlet pressure enhanced. D-type drip irrigation tube single discharges was significantly higher than other three kinds of drip irrigation tube in the same pressure conditions; Type C have best irrigation uniformity (Eu> 98%), was impacted less with the changes in the inlet pressure, then the type B, the last was type A and type D.(2) Soil moisture distribution and migration with different drip irrigation of the test showed that the moisture in the different soil moisture contents appear Tan-shape in single-tube drip irrigation conditions;In two-tube drip irrigation conditions,when total irrigation lower the wet shape shows double-bowl, with total irrigation increased, moist shape become Tan-shape. The amount of Single-tube and Two-tube drip irrigation respectively as 300m~3/hm~2 can meet the needs of plant roots to water.(3) Soil moisture determination under different irrigation methods showed that two-tube drip irrigation compared with single drip irrigation of water content in the vertical direction is higher,but lower in the horizontal direction.Covering irrigation and drip irrigation under mulch can maintain soil moisture effectively,all treatments(5625m~3/hm~2) can be realized saving of more water compared with the traditional furrow irrigation(9000m~3/hm~2) every year,compared all the treatments, covering irrigation is the best.(4) Shoot growth,fruit growth and fruit quality under different irrigation methods of the test showed that two modes of irrigation to be used,eight irrigation is the best time in the evening,fertilizer in the traditional furrow irrigation is better than drip irrigation on the growth of grapes,but lower fruit quality.Summer pruning in furrow irrigation found the second method performed in the local.(5) Root distribution survey found that various water-saving methods have regional restrictions on the role of roots,compared with furrow irrigation,more quantity and shallow distribution of root with two-tube drip irrigation,roots on the move are more obvious with drip irrigation under mulch,compared all the treatments,covering irrigation is the best.(6) For all measurements,This irrigation method can suit the local climate conditions,single-tube drip irrigation and mulching treatments,the irrigation cycle is two irrigation,each irrigation amount is150m~3/hm~2 ,20:00 is better irrigation time.
