Objective:Through exploring the influence of the traditional Chinese medicine Pen Yan Fang on the expression of transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1) and its receptors(TβR Ⅱ) in the uterine tissue and ovarian tissue of the female rats with sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease to probe the functional mechanism of the Pen Yan Fang.Method:Choosing124SD female rats as the subjects and randomly extracting10female rats as the normal group,10female rats as the sham opreration group, later using the mechanical damage and mixed bacteria inoculation method to establish SPID rat models; After making modles success, rat models will be randomly divided into model group for15rats, therapeutic group for15rats, Pen Yan Fang high, medium and low dose group for every15rats. Observing the change of the the uterus tissue morphology under HE dyeing, and using the immunohistochemical method to observe the expressions of TGF-β1and its receptors(TβR Ⅱ) of all groups of rats.Results:1. HE stain positive scores of the Pen Yan Fang tablets in high, middle and low dosage significantly lower than the model group (P<0.05).2. Compared with the model group, the controlled group and the Pen Yan Fang groups can reduce the expression of transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1) and its receptors(TβR Ⅱ) in the uterine tissue and ovarian tissue of the female rats with sequelae of pelvic inflammatory disease, the difference between them was significant, the effects of Pen Yan Fang high dose group were the best.Results:1. SPID rat models can be successfully copied by using mixed bacteria inoculation method.2. Pan Yan Fang can accelerate the recovery of the tissue of SPID model rats. 3.Pan Yan Fang can inhibit the overexpression of TGF-β1and its receptors(TβⅡ) in the uterine tissue and ovarian tissue, thus plays its anti-inflammatory effect, it may be one of the mechanism of treating SPID.
