Health is an important livelihood projects, one of the prominent contradiction in our current health development of the economic burden of the disease is still heavy masses. Currently, Beijing’s general hospitals and specialized hospitals quantity, wide distribution, improve community health service centers (township hospitals) infrastructure, comprehensive health insurance coverage, namely Beijing residents access to safe, effective, convenient and economical health care services, regardless of Beijing urban residents and rural residents medical burden should decline, but according to Beijing research found that total health expenditure, the actual situation is not consistent with the development trend of the two. Faced with this situation, from the perspective of this study is different from the hope of total health expenditure in the pocket health expenditures, using questionnaires to a random survey of residents in Beijing, Beijing residents disease departure estimate the direct economic point of view based on survey data from the family burden, and to analyze the main factors for the development of Beijing’s health resources, health policy proposal to provide a reference.Research purposes:The main purpose of this study was to survey method to estimate the direct economic burden of the disease status of some residents of Beijing, and further analysis of income, medical treatment from medical institutions, medical insurance, education level and other factors have a direct economic burden of disease influence, advise and reference for the development of health policy in Beijing.Research Methods:According to the Beijing Municipal Health Services Fifth questionnaire, literature studies and expert advice, conduct the survey questionnaire design, survey includes basic information about family members, personal circumstances, two weeks sick injury cases, hospitalization during the year four; according to survey data using the two-step model method to estimate the direct economic burden of disease; using univariate rank sum test, test level was set at 0.05, on the direct economic burden of disease factors affecting the differences between groups were tested; using multivariate linear regression analysis, the significance level was set at 0.05, on multivariate analysis factors; using multivariate logistic regression analysis of health care utilization should visit without treatment, patients should be hospitalized but not hospitalized, the significance level set 0.05.Research Contents:Beijing residents according to the burden of disease and injuries to two weeks of hospitalization expenses disease cases during the year, the estimated direct economic burden of illness in Beijing some residents. Using statistical analysis on this basis, combined with the investigation of Beijing residents and health service utilization and case analysis of the factors affecting the disease in Beijing, some residents of the direct economic burden. And the direct economic burden and its influencing factors analysis results, some residents of Beijing disease, combined with Beijing’s existing health policy recommendations, the Beijing Municipal Health Department for disease control and slow down the disease burden of direct economic growth, to determine priority health reference questions. Conclusion:Survey, the survey of medical and health expenditure per capita consumption expenditure per capita living high proportion of residents in both times agriculture accounts outpatient higher direct costs, direct costs of hospitalization times were lower, non-agricultural hukou residents accounted for a large crowd of self-cost medical practices high, the direct economic burden of non-agricultural hukou holders of the underlying disease is higher than the agricultural hukou holders, multivariate linear regression analysis, the factors affecting the level of income, medical care from outpatient clinics type direct costs; inpatient institution type, whether surgery, whether poor factors household as direct costs of hospitalization. Through the survey data by the residents should visit the doctor without logistic regression analysis showed that the NCMS, commercial insurance, education level, family income is a factor without doctor’s residents should visit. Inpatient hospitalization without corresponding logistic regression analysis found that only a doctor away is the impact factor.Suggestion:Rational distribution of medical institutions, to improve primary health care sector service system; improve residents’health awareness, promote health literacy, and guide people to a reasonable medical treatment; to improve quality of health services in primary health care institutions to improve the utilization and acceptance.
