ObjectiveTo investigate the correlation between TCM syndrome types of lower limbs varicosity and ultrasonic indexes of GSV、SFV and POPV and seek the valuable ultrasonic indexes to syndrome differentiation and classification of lower limbs varicosity for opening new ideas in disease evaluation of diagnosis and treatment.Analysis the correlation between ultrasonic parameter and traditional Chinese medicine syndromes in order to widen ultrasound research scope and find a new objective basis for TCM diagnosis.Methods130 cases patients suffering simplex varicose veins of lower extremity were divided into 3 groups:over-strain injured Qi syndrome 49 cases, Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome 51 cases, downward damp-heat syndrome 30 cases. Great saphenous vein in saphenous-femoral valve, superficial femoral in the first valve and popliteal vein in first valve of pipe diameter, reflux average velocity (RAV) and reflux time (RT) were compared among the three groups. Record three sets of data and make statistical analysis.ResultThere was significant difference of great saphenous vein in saphenous-femoral valve of pipe diameter among three groups (P<0.01).The sequence of great saphenous vein in saphenous-femoral valve of pipe diameter from thin to thick was:Over-strain injured Qi syndrome, Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome, downward damp-heat syndrome. There was significant difference of great saphenous vein in saphenous-femoral valve of reflux average speed among three groups (P<0.01). The sequence of great saphenous vein in saphenous-femoral valve of reflux average speed from low to high was:Over-strain injured Qi syndrome, Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome, downward damp-heat syndrome. There was significant difference of great saphenous vein in saphenous-femoral valve of reflux time among three groups (P<0.01). The sequence of great saphenous vein in saphenous-femoral valve of reflux time from short to long was:Over-strain injured Qi syndrome, Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome, downward damp-heat syndrome. There was significant difference of superficial femoral vein in the first valve of pipe diameter among three groups (P<0.01). The sequence of superficial femoral vein in the first valve of pipe diameter from thin to thick was: Over-strain injured Qi syndrome, Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome, downward damp-heat syndrome. There was significant difference of superficial femoral vein in the first valve of reflux average speed among three groups (P<0.01).The sequence of superficial femoral vein in the first valve of reflux average speed from low to high was:Over-strain injured Qi syndrome, Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome, downward damp-heat syndrome. There was significant difference of superficial femoral vein in the first valve of reflux time among three groups (P<0.01). The sequence of superficial femoral vein in the first valve of reflux time from short to long was: Over-strain injured Qi syndrome, Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome, downward damp-heat syndrome. There was significant difference of popliteal vein in the first valve of pipe diameter among three groups (P<0.01).The sequence of popliteal vein in the first valve of pipe diameter from thin to thick was:Over-strain injured Qi syndrome, Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome, downward damp-heat syndrome. There was significant difference of popliteal vein in the first valve of reflux average speed among three groups (P<0.01). The sequence of popliteal vein in the first valve of reflux time from short to long was:Over-strain injured Qi syndrome, Qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome, downward damp-heat syndrome.ConclusionThere is a certain correlation between ultrasonic parameters and TCM syndromes of the ultrasonic parameters can be a new objective basis for Chinese medicine diagnosis.
