| Urban road is a skeleton of city, urban road forestation is the important part of the system of green land, wayside tree on urban road is the natural green protective screen in a city , and has the very important position in city forestation. The option of wayside tree is the chief task of road forestation construction , is also the key of road forestation success or failure. Selecting reasonably tree species is very important for perfect road service system, raise road service quality and improve ecological environment.This study analysed the history of Baotou's road forestation for more than 50 years and investigated the present situation of affecting the environmental factors of trees growing and wayside tree species.From cold resistance, drought resistance, fight longhorn beetle, inhale sulphur ability, dustproofability, fight dirty ability, increase oxygen ability, growth potential, view and admire and cost of maintenance of wayside tree species, ect the 10 aspects, by using the minimum Europe type and the way of composite index number, synthetically appraised the 80 kinds of existing wayside trees in Baotou city and summaried that there are the 69 kinds of wayside trees in major and common use suiting to environmental, and have offered science basis for Baotou road forestation, have very important realistic meaning and guidance meaning for tree species programming and organization of seedling production in a planned way of Baotou city. |
