The Design And Development Of Shared_Platform Of Forestry Information For Province's Forestry Department Based On WebGIS

At present, It is at a primary stage for forestry information system for Provinceforestry department which based on personal computer system or based on C/S structure,It is difficult for the criterionof data in this system to be unified and It is difficult for thecriterionof data structure, It is easy to make data redundancies, now some data has beaccumulated in the Province forestry department, the Province forestry department needthe data shared, at the same time it need the data manage and data maintenanceunified, WebGIS is a trend for GIS in the future,it can gratify the need of the Provinceforestry department Considering the situation what has said, in order to accomplish data shared offorestry data,The author of this paper studies how to make a shared_platform aboutforestry data for province forestry department based on WebGIS which can makeforestry data shared through internet .In this paper, The author carried out the paper bythe spatial database technology that is Oracle Spatial. Geographic InformationSystem(GIS) Server is GeoMedia WebMap belonged to Intergraph corporation and thetool of development is ASP. The plat's design and development are based on the project of the building'sdigital forestry on browse/server in Huhnan Province, The author of this paper hascarried out system analysis , requirement investigation and so on . In this Paper, theauthor has finished the platform's basic framework,and achieved the correspondingfunction.such as browsing , querying and overlaying etc.In the end, The author of thispaper draw a conclusionand indicate what will be done in the future.
