The agriculture of21centuries is information agriculture, to deep information technology is imperative in the agricultural field. Precision agriculture is the latest trend in agricultural development, and is a key way for future agricultural development. Precision agriculture development needs a plenty of effective, timely and accurate agricultural environmental information. The method and tool of obtaining agricultural environmental information continuously improves and riches in recent years. But from look on the whole, some problems will be solved, such as:the means applying to the process of colleting environmental information is relatively falling behind, the efficiency of colleting is low; The transmission mode is restrained by some conditions such as difficult wiring installation, short transmission distance is; and because of the scattered fields distribution, more equipments, handing operation has some defects such as more information categories, large amount of data, difficult management etc.Aiming at the problems existed in collecting field of farmland environment information in precision agriculture, basing on the wireless sensing network and GPRS communication network hard platform, WebGIS technology is introduced in the paper, the development mode that combing B/S with C/S is employed, using VS.NET as foreground development tool and SQL SERVER2005as background data base, TopMap World6as WebGIS development platform, crossing platform and visualized system platform which is used to observing field environment monitoring based on WebGIS is developed. So the new methods are provided for acquisition, management and analysis of field environment information. The significance is that combing the merits of traditional data collecting methods, taking GPRS technology which is widely used as transmission means, introducing popular WebGIS technology in constructing a hierarchical structure (the wireless networks node+monitoring system+network users) in order to realize different environmental information system (air temperature humidity, ground temperature humidity, wind speed, crosswind, rainfall and illumination) valid transmission, identification and management. It not only covers the shortages of traditional remote monitor but also provides the Web enquiries means which based on geographic information so that the environment information will be able to present to the end users who can query in a visual way. This system can provide powerful information supporting for artificial regulation microclimate and crop cultivation and management, agricultural districts and planning, which has greatly facilitated agricultural environmental information management and decision making for users. Finally, combined with practical application, the testing result nicely proves that the software design and hardware design are reasonable and the structure model meets the require of modern agricultural environmental information management, which has the features such as expansion and flexibility.Technical performance can meet the demand that the farmland environmental information remote monitoring in practice.Primary coverage and achievements of the paper are as follows:1) The hardware basis realizing filed environmental system platform are studied, including shapes of sensors which are used to observing various environmental factors, the selection of communication protocols through sensors and the selection of communication modes which are used to observing terminals and servers;2) Studying the various techniques which is used to realize monitoring system platform, analyzing the two development modes of C/S and B/S, combing the merits of the two modes, the development mode that combing B/S with C/S is put forward. WebGIS technology is deeply studied and then introduced into B/S, all the visualization exploded part of system are finished on map; adaptive development language and database platform are selected for system;3) Definiting the design objective of system platform and finishing the design of moni toring system platform, in addition, architecture, functional modules, data organization struct ure and development environment are detailed designed;4) By modularized thoughts, through ASP.NET and SQLServer database programming, monitoring system platform is developed on WebGIS, information management and Web publishing of farmland environment is realized on geographic information. Mmajor functions are as follows, basic GIS function, system management function, fetching, displaying, Integrated query and statistic analysis of environmental data;5) System test, finishing the tests of accuracy and stability of environmental factors sensors in observation and functional modules of monitoring system platform.
