| In this paper, we studied the ecological circumstances and biological characters, the propagation and planting methods of Rosa rugosa Thunb. in Hunchun Area of Jilin Province China. By the investigations and the experiments, we ascertained the components and distribution of the community; supplemented the biological characters of Rosa rugosa Thunb.; discussed the endangered theory; compared the similarities and differences between Rosa rugosa Thunb. and Rosa davurica Pall.; established its propagation and planting methods. The main asexual propagation method is Stem Cutting. And the method are as follows: adopted the full sun-spay-cutting method, cut the stems on the beginning of September, doused their bottom into IB A liquor ( 2.0 10-5g/mL) for 20 hours, cut the cuttings in the svustrate(the ratio of perlite to sand is 1:1).These treatments can improve the radiation rate to 76.67 percents. The optimal planting by seeds are as follows: gathered the seeds, soaked into KNO3 liquor (2 10-2g/mL) for 4 hours, mixed the seeds with wet sand (the ratio of seeds to sand is 1:3), stored the mixture at low temperature for 180 days. These treatments can ensure about 35 percents germination rate. We researched the methods of the seedlings' planting and ascertained the optimal period and methods of the seedlings' transplanting. The results of experiments are as follows: It can ensure high survival rate when the seedlings had grown with 2-5 leaves ,4.0-6.5cm high in the propagation block, transplanted them to the flowerpots in greenhouse firstly, then transplanted again after the second new-leaf grew; It is the most feasible one for potted seedlings when the cultivated material's ratio of glebe soil to peat composed of rotten mosses to sand is 1:3:1; It can accelerate the growth of the seedlings when fertilized pure nitrogenous fertilizer 200mg, P2O5 300mg, K2O 200mg per-kilogram glebe soil. |
