With the lack of resource day by day, the environment pollution serious more and more, vehicle holdings increasing and people take the Environmental protection in a very important place, especially the oil price increasing, the hybrid electric vehicle becomes the first choice of the new technology vehicle under current. The hybrid electric vehicle has already been Merchandise in large scale, but its core technology, especially its control strategy of drive train needs to study more.According to the difference of configuration and combination of driving system, HEV includes series, parallel and mixed types.The different structure form with different characteristics, the corresponding control strategy is also different,so you can choose according to the actual situation, for the structural form and control strategies to achieve better fuel economy and emission performance, and satisfy the relevant regulations on vehicle performance requirements.In accordance with the driver and driving conditions, the control strategy distribute the energy flow between the various components reasonably, and optimizes the energy of vehicles, reduce fuel consumption and emissions, and compromise and optimizes fuel consumption and the exhaust without damaging vehicle performance.Control strategy not only to achieve the best fuel economy, exhaust situation and vehicle performance, but also take the reliability of the components, battery life and overall cost and other important factors into account.This paper introduces the status of hybrid electric vehicle research and practical application of various control strategy models, and analysis of various structural models of hybrid electric vehicle operation mode, energy flows and characteristics, the situation of study control strategies is also reduced, then introduced advantages and disadvantages of these control strategies with examples. The simulation analyze to parallel hybrid electric vehicle is operated, and change the module of whole car model in ADVISOR for the parallel hybrid electric vehicle simulation study, and analyze TOYOTA PRIUS control strategy for this style drive system study.Finally, analysis the impact of the frequent opening and closing of the engine to hybrid electric vehicles, and propose optimal control strategy of engine for these effects.
