In this paper, the research object is Testing Device in the Egg automatic grading production line, mechanical design virtual simulation, performance analysis and optimization studies for it. First, the experimental studying of the eggshells carrying capacity and vibration characteristics have been done. The maximum load of eggshells can be obtained through experiments and the natural frequency of the eggshells can be obtained. This follow-up provides the basis for the design and verification of references.The use of Pro / E software is built rack, cam weighing bodies, grooved wheel intermittent transmission, eggs transmission chain and the three-dimensional CAD model of test modules. A multi-body system dynamics based on the theory of mechanical system have been set up. Using dynamics simulation software Pro / Mechanism the multi-body system dynamics model of cam weighing bodies and grooved wheel intermittent transmission have been set up. On this basis, the model was created including rack and egg transmission chain and the testing organizations.Parametric designing have been done of weighing cam bodies. Deed the virtual experiments in the Pro / Mechanism of, can obtain the best cam mechanism corresponds to the set of detection device parameters. And ABAQUS finite element software to analyze the cam weighing institutions in the process of weighing the force of egg shell, As well as the stress distribution on the shell. And compared to the experimental data test and verify the cam weighing agencies is reliability and security.Intermittent drive mechanism of the grooved wheel carried out parametric design. In the MathCAD simulation analysis carried out by changing the groove depth slot round draw the corresponding slot wheel speed and acceleration curves. Although the curve we can see from this optimization makes the maximum speed was decreased, but the pace of change there is not conducive to a smooth transfer mutations. Combination mechanism can be achieved through the application of slot wheel angular velocity and angular acceleration of the optimization. And analysis of finite element software ABAQUS optimized through the combination of body movement of the grooved wheel on the conditions of eggs transmission chain. Stress distribution on the eggshells has been verified the intermittent transmission system is safe and reliable.
