With the development rural economy of and increase of rural economic level, it has raises higher requirements for thermal comfort in residential environment after peasants solve essential residential problems. In recent years, due to new rural communities construction like a raging fire and post-disaster reconstruction after the super earthquake of wenchuan in Sichuan province, a great amount of rural residence need to reconstruction. The existing rural residential considered less in thermal comfort and energy-saving, it is especially important that researching in-depth the problem as to thermal environment in existing residence to solve the correlation between residential beautiful, comfort and practical.By means of field test and questionnaire survey, this paper focuses on typical rural residence in the Chengdu area, presents the concept of compensation temperature and evaluation temperature, builds the thermal comfort evaluation model of rural natural ventilation in the Chengdu area and thermal comfort zone, combining relational expression of outdoor monthly mean temperature and neutral temperature in Chinese hot summer and cold winter regions and climate characteristic of high temperature and high humidity in Chengdu area. Numerical simulation is carried out to research the wind environment around rural residence by computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to compare the influence on indoor incoming natural wind as to residential toward, form of courtyard and so on. Based on above analysis the indoor temperature field and velocity field are further simulated. The indoor thermal comfort is evaluated and analyzed the thermal comfort evaluation model of rural natural ventilation in Chengdu area built on the basis of adaptive standard and evaluation temperature.It can be concluded by analyzed resulting data of field test and numerical simulation that there in no more than 1.5℃in same natural ventilation room, and the larger the temperature difference indoor and outdoor, the more obvious the temperature gradient indoor. The main cooling way of local resident in summer is opening the fans instead of keeping window open habitually. As the result of higher adaptability to local humidity and hot climate, lower hot expectation, and better ability to bear high temperature and high humidity, the acceptable thermal temperature upper limit is higher than that of ASHRAE 55-92 standard. It is advantage to indoor airflow that there is a specific single between inlet velocity direction and inlet plan as to on side opening building while disadvantage when tangential velocity is too big or too small. The thermal comfort requirement of residential indoor can all be satisfied at night, while can't be satisfied in the afternoon, so a high 0.7m/s velocity can remove discomfort caused by too high temperature, that is, keeping fans open which is the traditional and convenient actively regulating method can meet comfort requirement.
