In the process of construction of deep-buried tunnel in Kast area, some special geological hazards, such as water gushing and mud gushing, is dominative factors for tunnel construction security, project quality and structure stability, also often is key factor in the tunneling construction. Based on the example of Jinping hydroelectric power station assistance tunnel geological instance investigation, this paper focuses on the conditions and mechanism of water gushing and mud gushing, the forecast of deep-buried the tunneling in Karst.Firstly, this paper is devoted to the type and the basic characteristic of rock characters, geological structures and topography in Jinping hydraulic and water resources project. In Jinping tunnel traverse area, the geologic structure characteristic, the hydrology geology characteristic, rock characters has been analyzed. In Jinping tunnel area, this paper summarized a better ability in catchment structure, the karst growth, the pipeline of underground in karst is unimpeded. We analysis synthetical geology of water gushing and mud gushing carriedly Jinping tunnel area.Then, the paper covers the condition of movement-deposited groundwater and the characteristic of water gushing and mud gushing in the Jinping hydroelectric power station assistance tunnel. Further more we introduce the regularity of mass water gushing and mud gushing in Jinping tunnel. Mechanics principles are used to describe the hydraulic fracturing effect in karst. Water gushing and mud gushing damage power is calculated in the formula of hydraulic fracturing that we present. The conclusions can be drawn: the results accord with the actual situation.Finally, we generalize tradition geology forecast methods using in the karst tunneling and each characteristics. Applying the stronger nonlinear of Matlab - ANN (BP nerve network) to the forecast of water gushing and mud gushing in Jinping tunnel. The results show: the BP network can the quite correct recognition sample after the process training. Based on the preliminary geological reconnoitre parameter, we can construct calculation model and complete the study sample training. Then forecast displays unusual simple, fast and highly effective, Therefore, we believe: the application of BP neural network based on MATLAB to method ,Network model is effective to solves water gushing and mud gushing in tunnel.
