With the persistent improvement of engineering technology, including design and construction, and the quality of materials, our request of building's function has been persistently improved. Tall buildings in the world have been developed rapidly. Modern tall buildings have been built taller and larger. The development tendency of tall buildings is complicated form of structures and multiple functions, in order to provide better living environment and working conditions. Even in one building, the building functions are various along the height direction. Hotel and dwelling house are in the top part, offices are in the middle part, supermarket, restaurant and amusement lieu are in the bottom part. And this has become a tendency. In order to realize these various functions, different structures have to be used .So horizontal transfer component has to be used at the story in which the form of structures are changed. And this story is the story we called transfer story. Tall buildings with transfer stories have become more common, especially in the cities in which the resources of field is destitute now.For the sake of the appearance of transfer stories in tall buildings, the stress circs of some components and the paths to transfer forces have become more complicated. Especially for the thick plate transfer story which has to be used in the case that the upper column net and the underlying column net are stagger, and it's difficult to be braced. The column net under the thick plate transfer story can be set neatly, and need not put in order with the upper structures. On the one hand, the thick plate transfer story facilitates the setting of the upper structures, on the other hand, it makes the path of force transition hazy. All these have made many things more difficult or more complicated, such as the stress circs of some components, the structural calculation, for example, the finite element calculation, the steel design. And what is more, reinforced steel must be taken into account between columns and walls, that is to say we have to set hidden beams. This makes the dosage of steels larger. As a result, it is necessary and exigent for us to study the transfer story of tall buildings, especially the thick plate transfer story. In this paper, it has been studied that the effect on the mechanical function of the thick plate transfer story because of the non-linear character of the concrete material. There are two methods have been used, one is the field-measures, the other is academic analysis. The results show that the non-linear finite element analysis's result...
