Study On CNG Or Gasoline Convertible-fuel Engine Oil

Accorded to the CNG/gasoline convertible-fuel engine work characteristic, the request of the convertible-fuel engine for the lubricating oil and function of the lubricating oil to the convertible-fuel engine were analyzed in this paper. Evaluating target of the engine oil and the viscosity rank of the engine oil question and so on were narrated, the CNG/ gasoline convertible-fuel engine oil should has operational performance was concluded. Used the base oil that was produced by the hydrogenation craft to mix light polishing oil has satisfied the demand of the base multistage oil. Contented the demand of performance of the CNG/gasoline convertible-fuel engine oil, referred the massive datum, chose the appropriate additive, the base oil compatibility to between and the additive receptivity were analyzed by the massive experiments. In these foundations, an optimized formula CNG/gasoline dual-fuel engine oil of 15W/40 was developed. Its performance was inspected through the laboratory contrast experiment with the gasoline engine oil and the natural gas engine oil. The result indicated that its performance surpasses the performance of the gasoline engine oil, to same tune the performance of the natural gas engine oil quite.Finally, through has carried on the contrast field test of CNG/gasoline convertible-fuel engine and SF gasoline oil on the Xi'an public traffic the sixth company. Quality performance of CNG/gasoline convertible-fuel engine oil was inspected analysis in field test. And actual operational performance of CNG/gasoline convertible-fuel engine oil was inspected by disconnecting the engine. The test result indicated that the engine major component has good detergent and attrition in normal scope. CNG/gasoline convertible-fuel engine oil has better performance than that of gasoline engine oil of the SF level, good performance of detergent dispersant, high-temperature anti-oxidation and abrasion. And CNG/gasoline convertible-fuel engine oil can satisfy request of lubricating oil of CNG/gasoline convertible-fuel engine.
