The Research Of Key Technique Of Road Basic Geographic Information Management System

Road, one of the basic traffic facilities, directly affects the development of Guangzhou,the capital of Guangdong Province,economics.The traditional manage- ment method has to deal with the long distance line and enormous information data of road It makes the governor of road department unable to grasp the information of road effectively. The rapid construction of road in recent years makes the traditional management method become a obstacle that more seriously block the way of improving the informationization's of road management and construction and also can not meet the need of management modernization and the requirement of road's construction and development .Applying GIS technique to the road construction and management of our country is one of high-efficient and important means to push road construction and management into modernization and informationization .According to the experience of research and development of"Road Base GIS Manage System",the paper expatiates the conception of GIS and Road GIS ,also their history of development in the world and the country. It introduces key techniques of the system:ComGIS, WebGIS and Dynamic Segmentation and the way to realize them,open database system. And according to their own advantage and disadvantage of Client/Server architecture and Browser/Server architecture, this paper proposes a synthetically architecture of B/S and C/S. This paper laid stress on the introduction of every component of the system. Also, it introduces the rules and standard of building database and describes the method of how to realize map-property inter-query. At last, this paper proposes a new way to extend the function of ArcIMS.By building an integrated database of geographic data and property data ,the system provides data inquiry function which is fast and accurate by the way of show maps, charts etc. The methods analyzing the data and the forecast can also be available. All the results message can be displayed and printed out. The system constructs a solid,data-share foundation to support the Road Management and Road Maintenance.etc.
