The Transient Energy Function (TEF) method is much used in on-line transient stability evaluating and control of power system. It has become an important research field in power systems. The thesis systematically reviews and summarizes the development state of the direct method outside and inside the country. Combines with single machine-infinite system, this thesis presents the process of transient-stable analysis by using direct method: the definition of transient energetic function and its calculation, how to fixes the critical energy, A Lyapunov function is established by using energy function method. Transient stability of power system is analyzed by using Lyapunov direct method without the damp and with the damp, this paper presents a new method used in single machine to infinite bus system, which the direct methods for power system transient stability analysis based on damp and excitation control, which influence on the Stable region ,the emulation results show that the method is powerful for analyzing the transient stability of electric power systemUsing amend Euler arithmetic solve transient stability of power system, study the function relation of power angle swing curve and power angle velocity, as the power system suffer from great disturb. Solve the terminal removal power angel and terminal removal time. Analyzing the influence with stability about the damp and terminal removal time. The specialty of direct method is that it analyzes the stability from the point of energetic rather than by means of calculate the system movement track. The strong point of direct method is its quick speed and it can also quantify the degree of stability. So we can use it as an on-line tool to analysis dynamic security and an...
