In this paper, the important and basic position was analyzed about the risk assessment ofconstruction installation sites to most of the construction installation company. According to theproblems existing in the construction installation safety management and assessment now, theresearch project of the risk assessment based on BP neural network was proposed and studied,and the author's original idea and methods was given out. By synthetically using safety systemengineering, risk assessment technique, the analytic hierarchy process, fuzzy mathematics,artificial neural network, computer software engineering theories and advanced technologies,this paper has made a profound and systematic research into risk assessment workingmechanism and into the computer's application of developing the risk comprehensiveassessment in the construction installation safety management. Firstly, the key point is to establish a sound criteria system of risk assessment in the wholecourse of comprehensive evaluation, so the criteria system of risk comprehensive assessmentbased on the fact of construction installation sites was proposed. Then BP training samples wereget by AHP-Fuzzy method. That is, the weight of every criteria factor was firstly calculatedthrough AHP, and then the result of comprehensive assessment was get by Fuzzy mathematics,as a result, we can obtain a series of training samples. Working mechanism of artificial neuralnetworks and the course of ANN system training were given in this paper. The model of BPnetwork will be training by enough training samples until the error reaches the criterion, andthen we can use the model of BP network to assess safety level of construction installation sites.Applying the model of risk assessment to practice is an obligatory work. The author apply themodel to the construction installation sites of Beijing Urban Construction InstallationEngineering Company, and the final result indicates that BP neural network is an effectivemethod and tool in the comprehensive safety assessment of construction installationsites.Besides, the author has developed a relevant software of risk comprehensive assessment ofconstruction installation sites, and the software can be regarded as the production of the research.
