Distribution network, as a link of power system orienting the users ,more and more attentions have been paid on its programming and design .In order to improve the reliability and quality of electricity ,this paper studying the algorithm to design the network and distribution transformer number or location based on load forecast base on CIS.The thesis conducts a research on the Geographic Information System(GIS) and the GIS application on Electric power system . Design the structure and the functions of Electric power GIS system ,the database of Electric power network system . This paper points out that the present network modeling method may not be suitable because the specific structure of distribution network and the requirements of the distribution application software are not considered .Then a new modeling method and the database structure suitable for distribution network information management ,employing Geographic Information System ,design a Electric power GIS System map .Investigating several methods for load forecast of distribution network ,space and time forecast are united example indicates that this method is feasible.
