Constructions often need be repaired, strengthened and rehabilitated for design and construction mistake in civil engineering area. As a new strengthening method, CFRP-strengthening technique attract eyes of researchers and engineers all the world, and are considered economical and having foreground, for CFRP have many advantages of excellent mechanical strength and low weight, immunity to corrosion, and convenience in use. The researches and theories of CFRP are not deep, and the use of CFRP is not abroad in our country, although CFRP -strengthening technique is used more and more in other countries. But the research on CFRP is being the focus recently.In order to know the behaviors of RC beams strengthened with CFRP laminates, design and complete the experimental researches on the flexural behaviors of RC beams strengthened with CFRP laminates. Based on the experiment results analyzed the behaviors of RC beams, the ultimate flexural strength, the stiffness, the ductility, the cracking state and the failure modes, and the influence of the steel reinforcement ratio, the initial loading level on the flexural strength of RC beams. With the analyzed results, calculating methods for the flexural strength of RC beams strengthened with CFRP laminates are suggested. The calculating progress of the method of "Synthesis coefficient" is simple, and the calculating results agree with the experiment results well. So, The method of "Synthesis coefficient" may be applied in project.
