As everyone knows, harmonics measurement and harmonics analysis has become one important research direction in the field of power system. Recently, with the widespread application of various kinds of electrical and electronic devices (mainly some non-linear equipment), harmonic pollution is becoming more and more serious, power quality comes down and different kinds of fault and accident happen often. As a result, to prevent the harmonic disturbance and improve the power quality, measurement and analysis of harmonic component produced by power network or by non-linear power consumption devices is necessary to grasp the actual conditions of the harmonics on power system.This thesis systematically introduces the methods of measurement and analysis on power system harmonics. Develop and realize harmonics analysis software of power system based on the Radix-2 FFT Algorithm and Good-Thomas Algorithm separately at the same time. It achieves the analysis of Comtrade and realizes some new functions such as adjustable length of the sequence participating in the FFT. The soft is developed based on Qt, which is a cross-platform programming language.Firstly, some basic conception of the harmonics is introduced presumptively. Main methods of power system harmonic analysis are concluded. History, present situation and development of harmonics measurement are summarized.Secondly, based on detailed theoretical analysis, design and development of harmonic analysis software have been made. The current direction of development of power system is very clear. It is necessary to wash out power system analysis software that is Windows operating environment based, which is relatively lack of stability and safety, gradually, and introduce a better variety of applications under the Linux system. In order to comply with the trend of development, having finished the development of Windows operating environment based analysis software, I use Nokia R&D of Qt as a development tool to realize the analysis software.
