Now, energy sources consume increasing daily and environment empoison being serious gradually, wind power, as renewable, no pollution energy source, is paid great attention by more and more countries. The technologies also become research hotspot of many countries.As the representative of modern electrical machines, switched reluctance machine combines the electrical machine theories with the modern power electronics technique and the advanced microprocessor control technique, which not only has low-cost strong structure,good fault-tolerant and heat-resistant capability but also has excellent controllability. Thus,switched reluctance machine as motor is widely used in drive and speed regulation field.In these teny ears,more and more attention is also paid to its application in generation field,Which interests many specialists and scholars.This paper mainly focuses on the application of switched reluctance generator in wind generation, and has done some further theoretic research as well as simulation research and experimental research.Firstly, this paper summarized and analyzed the present and the prospective of wind generator and relative techniques based on a large number of referenced materials, presented the several advantages of SRG wind generator system, further development the significance of developing this kind of system clear.Secondly, this paper describes the operation and control principle of SRG form the new perspective and discusses the control method and the process of power generation.Thirdly, a mathematical model of SRG nonlinear inductance was produced. This paper produces the mathematical model with MATLAB and PID controllers are used for the power system simulation. This paper obtains some results conforming to the reality.Forthly, control software and hardware of the 8/6 motor is developed and tested ,which based on DSP control teehnique and Power eleetronics converting teehnique.
