In the present paper, the sampling, investigations and determination were carried out in order to clarify the spatial distribution and heavy metal pollution status of six heavy metals (Pb,Cu,Cr, Ni. Zn and Cd) which were considered from E-waste disassembling in farmland soil around GuiYu where is a strongly polluted area in Guangdong. The total concentrations of target heavy metal in 136 soil samples collected from the study area, were analyzed by GIS spatial analysis method and geostatistics method for mapping heavy metal spatial distribution, pollution status and ecological risk assessment of the six soil heavy metals, in order to achieve the visualization of above-mentioned results. The main results are as follow:(1) The correlation analysis among the total concentrations of the six kinds of heavy metals was carried out for approaching the character of soil heavy metals. Principal component analysis and cluster analysis was used in order to understand the influence factors on the spatial distribution of soil heavy metal.(2) The spatial distribution characteristics of heavy metals were approached under choosing an appropriate method using geostatististics module of Arcgis, the one of the software of GIS. The spatial distribution map was generated.(3) The single factor and Nemerow Index method were used for the assessments on soil heavy metals pollution for the study area, and the spatial distribution maps of soil heavy metal pollution levels were generated by the GIS technology based on the assessment results.(4) Potential ecological risk assessment of heavy metal pollution was performed by using Hakanson's ecological risk index. Visualization of the pollution level based on he results of ecological risk assessment was mapped.
