In this paper, poly-silicic acid was prepared by the lixiviate ion law, and the poly-silicic acid gel process was analyzed by the method of temperature, pH value and the SiO2 content .Using poly silicate, aluminum sulfate, ferric chloride as raw materials ,the composite method according to a certain Al / Si molar ratio, Fe / Si volume ratio, will have a different degree of polymerization of silicic acid added to the different basicities of the polymer aluminum sulfate or poly-ferric chloride solution, and developed a poly-acid metal salt flocculant - PASS and PFSC inorganic polymer flocculants. And the application performance of the product was carried out experimental study; the process of coagulation the orthogonal experimental method used in dealing with a certain tannery effluent, examined the pH, iron (aluminum) of silicon ratio, and flocculant dosing volume and basicity (B) and so on right CODcr and color removal rate; The use of hourly Ferron complexation colorimetric method to analyze PASS and PFSC shape, while PASS aluminum and PFSC sewage treatment effects were analyzed and compared.The experimental showed that the best preparation polysilicate conditions were shown as follow. Temperature is about 30℃, PH = 7, and SiO2 content is about 2.2%. when pH = 7 ~ 9,he PASS and the poly-Si acid-ferric chloride had very good addition of color effects, especially the PFSC in appropriate low-dosage, when performance was particularly apparent.The results of flocculation experiment showed that: the Al/Si, Fe/S molar ratio, basicity, and pH values had varying degrees of impacts on coagulation effect. When the Si/Fe molar ratio is 1:40 and the alkalization degree of PFSC is 0.75, and flocculant had the highest color removal rate for more than 90%; When the Si/Fe molar ratio of 1:40 and the volume of iron-based coagulant COD removal rate reached the highest point. The maximum color removal agent could reach more than 96% of its basicity of 0.75, when the Si/Al volume ratio of 4.0, COD removal rate reached its highest point.In the study of flocculating mechanism, all the results showed above which were proved to be true by the experimental datum.
